Marion High School Alumni Association has some exciting events coming up in the next few weeks. We hope you’ll consider getting involved!
Giant Night in Lights
Sept. 6, 2017
On Wednesday, Sept. 6, you can join us for Giant Night in Lights, a unique opportunity to play a little golf and have a lot of fun together with friends. Starting at 6 p.m., teams of six will play four holes under the lights at Shady Hills Golf Course in Marion. There will be food and drinks, golf challenges like an island green shot and break the glass, along with live music from Marion native Jessie Brown, a country music artist now working in Nashville, Tenn.
>> To reserve your spot to participate, contact Shady Hills today! There are limited spots, and it is first come, first served. Call 765-668-8256 or visit them at 1520 W. Chapel Pike. It is $60 to register individually, or $100 for a pair — you save $10 each! (Shady Hills accepts cash or check only. If you need to pay by credit card, visit https://squareup.com/store/mhs-alumni-association.)

Giant Arts in the Park
Sept. 7, 2017
Giant Arts in the Park is a social event you won’t want to miss. At 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, come out and enjoy good company, a beautiful setting (the Gardens at Matter Park), and great entertainment from the Marion Community Schools music programs, along with food for sale to benefit the MHS Bands.
In addition, this event will cap off our online auction, which will start Aug. 27 and end Sept. 7. We will be auctioning the retired banners from Bill Green Athletic Arena (retired due to age, and replaced with beautiful new banners), along with a list of other items at nearly any price point. (You do not have to be present at this event to bid online.)
