Marion alum Robert Hull issues a challenge: Let’s give a GIANT boost to MHSAA funds!

In the corporate world, Marion High School alumnus Robert Hull is known for strategic thinking and global impact. Back in his hometown, he is also known for his generosity and support of today’s Marion Giants with big dreams. And now, he’s taking things a step further, issuing a challenge to his fellow alumni and all Giant fans and friends: Give, and he’ll match your gift!

The clock and the counter start ticking on Oct. 1, 2026.

Hull has pledged up to $64,000 to match donations to 16 designated Marion High School Alumni Association funds — $4,000 to each fund. The clock runs out on Dec. 30. Any gift of any size to the funds listed below are eligible for the match until time or funds run out!

The MHSAA funds that are eligible for Hull’s match are:

  1. Giant Academics Endowment (give through the Community Foundation of Grant County here)
  2. Giant Arts Endowment (give through the Community Foundation here)
  3. Giant Athletics Endowment (give through the Community Foundation here)
  4. Bobbie Owensby MHSAA Black History Club Endowment (give through the Community Foundation here)
  5. MHS JROTC Endowment / Scholarship Fund (give through the Community Foundation here)
  6. Robert Hull MHSAA Business Scholarship Fund (give through MHSAA here)
  7. Jack and Dave Colescott MHSAA Scholarship Fund (give through MHSAA here)
  8. Beekman-Porter Tennis Scholarship Fund (give through MHSAA here)
  9. Kerry Clevenger Marion Giants Athletic Booster Club Endowment / Scholarship Fund (give through MHSAA here)
  10. Jason Taylor Family Giant Spark Fund / Scholarship Fund (give through MHSAA here)
  11. Keller Family Science MHSAA Scholarship Fund (give through the Community Foundation here)
  12. F. Ritchie Walton MHSAA Arts Scholarship Fund (give through the Community Foundation here)
  13. Nellie and Rosie Business, Marketing, and Music Scholarship (give through MHSAA here)
  14. The Aruna Scholarship Fund (give through MHSAA here)
  15. The Fauser Family ‘Who Loves You’ Scholarship Fund (give through MHSAA here)
  16. The Marion Giants Athletic Boosters / Scholarship Fund (give to MHSAA here and don’t forget to choose “MGAB” as your designation)
